We work alongside key stakeholders across the region to ensure we are maintaining best practice and are maximising the development of our participants attending the programme. We have a strong track record of creating opportunity and raising awareness of Inclusion and continue to strive to remove barriers to sport and physical activity by creating environments that our participants feel relaxed and ready to participate in. We offer a range of services and tailor the programme according to the individual or group's needs. As part of Sport Birmingham's support of the local community sport network and response to Covid, we are offering a programme to 'Strengthen, Support & Sustain' frontline community development and delivery.
The programme includes 8 practical and informative learning modules and associated networking sessions, plus one-to-one organisational mentoring where you can discuss issues raised during the learning or have bespoke support around your business planning, governance, finance, workforce development or funding bids / tenders.
Organisations will have access to presentations, resources and a network of other community organisations through the Skills 360 platform.

Witton Lodge is a Community Association and Community Landlord based in Perry Common, in the North of Birmingham. Witton Lodge offer services with Jobs and Skills, deliver a wide range of Environmental Projects and promote local good health and wellbeing through our Living Well work.

Spring 22 Community Hub
Spring 22 Community Hub is part of the Spring Housing Organisation. Spring 22 is an online Open College network training Centre and provides free training to the residents of Birmingham, based specifically in the Perry Barr area. The free training available through Spring 22 is related to all aspects of digital, coding, financial employment, health and wellbeing. Spring 22 additionally supports with benefit calculations and advice and guidance for those applying for social housing.
Spring 22 community Hub has a digital lending library and digital suite for those accessing the Hub and provides support and advice regarding the Perry Barr Neighbourhood Network Scheme
Colebridge Trust
Colebridge Trust is registered charity and recognised as a community development trust for Solihull, in the West Midlands.
Colebridge Trust have supported people who live in one of the most deprived areas of the country since 2002. Supporting community residence in North Solihull who are often marginalised through disability health conditions and other limiting social circumstances. Colebridge Trust deliver projects that support employment and skills and health and wellbeing interventions, from the Colebridge community centre, Around Again Social Supermarkets, Assembly and Packing Social Enterprise and other outreach locations.

Nechells POD acts as a resource for the Nechells community by providing a safe and welcoming space in which residents can get together to participate in a wide range of activities and access services that empower them to lead self-determined, fulfilled lives and feel a sense of belonging to their community regardless of age, gender, race, faith or social background.

Go-Woman! Alliance CIC (GOAL) is a social enterprise working in the heart of the community on a wide range of projects.
GOAL strives to work with individuals, to provide provisions in both formal and informal learning opportunities throughout their lives, in order to foster the continuous development and improvement of the knowledge and skills needed for employment / self-employment and personal fulfilment.
Our aim is to provide holistic support to individuals who wish to become economically active through employment and/or self-employment.
We work with all ages including seniors in our community (women over the age of 55) via DOSTI (friendship) group to address mental health issues, through reducing social isolation and developing resilient communities and young people through Parent & Toddler and Bumps & Bundles groups.
GOAL specialism lies with working with disadvantaged communities, including women and young people developing and delivering range of courses including:

- DOSTI group (seniors in our community)

Cyp Field Lab - Parent Champions
The Parent Champions project aims to provide parents the opportunity to train, volunteer and deliver sport and physical activity within their communities. As a pilot project, these volunteers are from the Balsall Heath area and based at Clifton and Nelson Mandela Schools. The Parent Champions will be supported by sport and physical activity mentors, the aim of which is to support their personal development, coaching skills and increase sustainability of the project.
The Parent Champion volunteers will complete a 10 session training course of blended learning, with the aim to deliver various sport and physical activity to families and the local community.

James Memorial Homes
James Memorial Homes is a sheltered housing scheme run by James Charities in the Nechells area of Birmingham. It has 31 flats and communal hall and kitchen for the residents and local community to use. Residents of James Memorial a keen to access various recreational activities and enjoy arts, walking, and getting together for breakfast clubs and bingo.

Diamond Academy has grown from a weekend kick about to structured club with training delivered by FA Level 2 Coaches, and teams competing in the Midlands Junior Premier League (MJPL) and the Walsall Junior Youth League.
With children and young people participating from ages 6 – 18, Diamond Academy Sports CIC, is the expansion to providing the same opportunities in other sports, as Diamond Academy FC is enhanced with educational options, leading to employment opportunities.

Pat Benson's Boxing Academy - Train 2 Coach Program
The Train 2 Coach program aims to support the training and development of volunteers that have accessed the Mindfit program, hosted and delivered by Pat Benson's Boxing Academy and support their training to become community coaches.
This training program is a 12 week course that uses a blended learning approach to support the development of the Train 2 Coach volunteers. These volunteers will reside in the Birmingham area and deliver boxing, fitness, and wellbeing sessions within the communities of Birmingham. The blended learning approaches will incorporate both a practical session where coaches will be learning fundamental boxing skills and a theoretical session based around the principles of community coaching.

Share Shack is part of Active Communities Sharing Communities and offers a lending library "Library of Things" and opportunities to connect with others in communities through the sharing of skills. Skill sharing don't have to be complicated, it could be something as simple as being good at growing tomatoes, knowing how to tile or being able to knit.
There are a number of fixed Share Shack sites in the areas of Ladywood, Balsall Heath and Lozells, and several pop-up Share Shacks across the city of Birmingham.
